Victor is an outstanding host. Greeted us warmly and was so helpful with every question, making sure we felt right at home. The house is beautifully restored and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus. We spent two nights and did a lot of walking. Everything we wanted to see was closeby. We only wished we had more time and hope to be back!

From the moment we arrived Victor made us feel exceptionally welcome and at home. The house is a treasure trove, collected items from many years and unique hand painted walls in the dining room. It is a particular treat to stay in a traditional house. Our room was spotless and situated in the well tended garden, a tranquil retreat in which to enjoy a book. Breakfast was tasty and served in the wonderful, eclectic dining room. It is only a short walk to the centre of the city and what a treat awaits, there is so much to see in this beautiful city that we would like to have spent one or two more days there. We had a very early start the day we left and Victor was exceptionally kind in giving us a lift to the bus station. In my opinion this is THE place to stay when visiting Evora.

Great property with comfortable rooms and a pool. The owner was very friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a great stay. The breakfast was great, with freshly picked and squeezed oranges from the garden. There was a comfortable sitting room for guests and the owner offered a range of drinks at very reasonable prices.

Extra care taken with the room, garden and breakfast. A lovely oasis in a historic home and the most comfortable beds we had in Portugal. Victor is a great host 10/10 recommend.
