Lovely stay, with a very good breakfast. The staff was very friendly, and even though they struggled a bit with English, they did their best, and you cannot ask more. The room was not big, and neither was the toilet, but we had everything we needed. The location is very privileged and lively, there were many events and people by the hotel area. Eutin is also a very beautiful small city with a nice castle to visit. There is also an art museum but that did not pick our interest. Interestingly, there were almost no foreign tourists we could find, but many German people. The restaurant of the hotel was also good.

I could just imagine how nice place this will be during summertime. It was nice even it was dark winter hours. Hotel has nice view to the lake and to the castle. Reseptionists were really nice and helpful. Sauna area was good bonus. Now on February you could only see the lights in the dark outside while sitting in the sauna but it must be even more nicer during summer as you can see to the view and lake from the big windows. There is the same view from the sauna lounge area. I wish that I could had chance to enjoy and relax a bit longer over there. And please keep your towel on you when going to the sauna area as it's mix sauna for male and female :) Hotel is only 5min walk from the small city. There was a good walkpaths which started right next to the hotel but I sadly didn't have time to explore that. The restaurant was cozy and again I can just imagine what it would be during summer time as you could sit outside and enjoy your breakfast there watching people walking next to the lake and birds flying there.
