We had a truly wonderful stay at Casas Serenas during our vacation in Madeira. The location is absolutely stunning – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and full of rustic charm. The garden has a magical atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Thanks to the fresh air and deep silence, we slept 10–11 hours every night – something that rarely happens to us! It was the perfect environment to fully recharge. Our host, Emmanuel, was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt completely at home. His kindness and attention to detail made our stay even more special. We’re so grateful for everything and already planning to return. For anyone looking for an authentic Madeira experience, this is a hidden gem we wholeheartedly recommend!

The house is immersed in a garden full of variety and life (see pics). The house is equipped with everything needed to cook. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The philosophy is the respect of the nature and recycling. The terrace is enjoyable with the sun. We stayed in the second week of March, it was a period of intense raining. Since it was colder than usual Adelina provided us with electric heaters. I had an allergic reaction due to the fact that previous guests let probably cats to sit on the pillows of the chairs. But Adelina solved it immediately by organizing new deep cleaning and replacing the cushions and blankets. Very efficient! Adelina is always available for any problem. An excellent host.

Wonderful location in a wonderful subtropical garden with amazing sea view. We stayed in Bonita, a lovely house, perfectly equipped with great taste. Very individual and very relaxing. Emmanuel, our host is very friendly, easy going and helpful. He offered us fruits from his garden and fresh eggs from his neighbor and it was always great to have a chat with him. Estreito do Calheita is nicely located, easy to get to the hiking areas of Rabacal and the llevadas there (25 sources, Risco waterfall), we also liked the bar Pukiki, just a 4 min walk from our house.

The house is wonderful! ♥️ Meticulously detailed, extremely clean, and equipped with every comfort. A stunning veranda that we enjoyed practically every evening. A barbecue for our quiet grill nights with an ocean view. The Jacuzzi for post-hiking relax was the cherry on top. Emmanuel is a very helpful host who made us feel right at home. Upon arrival, we found fresh eggs, excellent fruit, and a bottle of wine. We left a piece of heart at Casas Serenas🪷
