Dan “Great location, Medina, beach and pool 😍”

The location is perfect close to Medina, beach and landmarks. The facilities were perfect for that authentic Riad feel. The plunge pool was so refreshing great to cool down in the heat of the day. The support and recommendations by Blanka were excellent and seeing the cleaner Fouzia with her smile always brightened up our day! We loved it so much we're going back next year!

We loved Aghata Palms - what a beautiful Riad! We stayed four nights in the second floor apartment and there’s plenty of space to spread out and relax. It’s light and airy and in a good location, down a couple of side streets off one of the main streets. The private balcony has an ocean view and is great for sitting reading, having a drink, as is the pool area. There’s a ‘welcome’ booklet in the apartment with useful information on places to eat, sites of interest etc. Fouzia the housekeeper is lovely and there if you need her for anything. This is Morocco, so expect the early morning call to prayer and occasional neighbourhood noise but that’s all part of the experience!

The Riad was authentic and quirky but super friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable and Blanka gave out all the tips you could possibly need . Nothing was too much trouble and Fouzia who looked after us was a gem . Hopefully we will get the chance to visit again .

I liked everything about Aghata Palms. We were welcomed by Fouzia who showed us around and gave us the keys. As we were new to the area we asked her to make us breakfast on our first morning which was perfect, a simple traditional feast of bread, juice, honey and jams, Moroccan mint tea and coffee, and pain au chocolat. We were on the first floor apartment and both rooms were lovely and had their own bathroom. The courtyard garden was lush and the pool was a godsend after a long journey. Having my morning brew on the rooftop terrace watching the sunrise was an absolute treat. The riad is in the medina next to the wall and really quiet and yet central for walking to anywhere in the medina. The maze of narrow streets and alleyways can seem bewildering at first but we soon got used to it and got our bearings, and it is so ancient and atmospheric. There are loads of great places to eat nearby, and more shops selling Moroccan crafts and artisan goods than you could ever wish for. I recommend just wandering around and getting lost (you won’t get totally lost, it’s manageable 😘) and seeing what you discover. By the end of our stay we were still discovering new nooks and crannies. Blanka was a brilliant host and stayed in touch throughout to ensure all was well. I would thoroughly recommend Essaouira and Aghata Palms.
