Valdemiro and his family are superb hosts. He arranged a taxi to collect me from the port late at night and a taxi to the airport. When I was lost one night in the town centre I called and he gave me step by step directions back towards the apartment. Need a dish rack to let dishes and cutlery drain before drying and stacking in the cupboard. I left a lighter for the cooker for future guests as there wasn’t one in the apartment. Water pressure is unreliable. Most of the time it’s extremely low, painfully low for a decent shower and once there was no water at all. Apartment could do with A/C in the living area and bedroom. It can get hot and stuffy in the apartment and it’s south east facing so the sun shines in the living area. Fast reliable fibre broadband most of the time. Bed is comfortable but squeaky. Could do with brighter lighting in the living room and also a lamp in the living room. Location is a bit far from the town centre. 30 minute walk. Ok if you don’t mind walking. Apartment is on second floor and no lift, if you need disabled wheelchair access bear this in mind. Grocery shots approximately 10 minutes walk. I would definitely stay here again. I thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay. Some niggles but the host more than makes up for it.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable host. Clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet accommodation. Nice private rooftop terrace. Within easy reach of all of Sal's sights. Recommended.

Ideal location for the airport, only 5 minutes in a taxi. Very clean and spacious. Great balcony. Great host, very helpful. Close to cafe and bakery. Location is quiet.
