The apartment is located about 25 minutes by car from Varenna, along a winding mountain road. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming — it truly feels like you're staying with family. Right next to the apartment is an amazing restaurant (Locanda Montefiori) where the food is absolutely exceptional. The area is quiet and peaceful, with a charming village vibe, far from the busy tourist spots. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere!

The hosts were super nice. The house is located high in the mountains, good driving skills are essential. The summer heat was not so strong up there and the area is wonderful. The flat was very suitable for us for the few days. There are some bad opinions about the breakfast: for us everything was fine, if you ask for something (sweet, savoury, sausage or cheese) you will get it, including espresso and juices - served in the garden. Paola, warm greetings especially from Lorenzo, thanks for the ice creams and for the opportunity for playing billiard ;)

The host is excellent and a genuine lady with great sense for hospitality. She prepared the breakfast herself and it was really good. We were very well attended. I would recommend the place to everyone. Definitely value for money.
