Quiet,great views,accommodating helpful host, delicious breakfast with homemade cake. Our favourite was the banana, chocolate and honey muffin 😋 Relaxing balcony and salon, parking onsite. Location rural, plenty walks and cycling in vicinity yet so close to Vitoria Gasteiz.

Casa Rural Areano is a lovely place to stay. A beautiful traditional Basque farm like house with comfortable and clean rooms and modern comfort. The view on the mountainous landscape is splendid, there is a nice open terrace. Host Mikel gives a lot of information about the area, walkings around, nature, villages, city Gasteiz is about 20 km away. Excellent info in English, Spanish and you can practice your Basque. Señor Mikel assisted with our late arrival in the dark, although the place is well indicated from the main road too. Tasty breakfast, very Spanish. Certainly a place to return for some more days, to explore more of Euskadi.

An old house in the mountains in a beautiful area, a very nice host, serving a simple but very tasty breakfast in the morning. Peace and quiet. A good base for exploring the area. Amazing views when the morning mists rise

The traditional house is located in a mountainous setting with great views. I slept like a baby at night, fresh air coming in through the window and total absence of traffic sounds... We woke up to the smell of roast tostadas and really enjoyed breakfast with Mikel as a host and a couple we would engane in conversation with. Mikel helped us make the best of the chilly rainy days. Thank you again, Mikel, we had a memorable stay and are grateful for your hospitality!
