I drove a charity rally across Europe and Scandinavia, 12 hour drive to get here, I called ahead to see if I can get dinner and they said the kitchen was open for arrival, got there it was closed, no food! Nothing to drink in the room and can’t charge anything to the room, up and down that lift and messing about for two hours, just wanted food water and bed! It’s not so easy, can’t even get parked outside, 20 minutes to park close. Sorting the car it was mosquito heaven, must be all those recycling and waste bins out front. Breakfast I paid, sat down, was told after I sat down they needed to clear tables in 15 minutes, then 9 minutes etc etc! Could have told me before I paid and sat down!

The hotel design was a contemporary statement. We were on the 16th floor, with a balcony and therefore had exceptional views. The restaurant on the top floor (17th) was excellent, although quite expensive. Note it was under separate management from the hotel. The studio we had came with its own kitchenette, providing the option of self-catering in addition to the restaurant option. Overall it represented excellent value.
