A really lovely location on the river reached via a very adventurous route through the vineyards on a narrow, steep and twisty road which we absolutely loved. We were very well looked after; the food was delicious and the wine tasting was fun - we thought the wine was fabulous. We very much enjoyed the pool over looking the river and we had a wonderful stay.

Everything went super well at Quinta Sao José. The staff (Joana, Fernanda and Agatha) were fantastic and so helpful. The breakfast was a feat every morning and the dinners prepared by Fernanda were outstanding and delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here!
