The owner shared a lot of knowledge with us about the area and we got free coffee at his cafe the next day. The woman cooked us a lovely tajine. But the best part was the children whom we played games with and danced and played Kash kash (hide and seek). We used Google Translate to talk all night and had an amazing experience.

It is my second stay at Gite d étape Khettara Oasis. It is a good place for a stayover before reaching the Erfoud region. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I was lucky again to be alone in the dormitory. The environment is very quite

Great place to stay if you want to get out of city. Easy to take a bus or shared taxi to village, then follow signs. Very friendly family managing place. Good breakfast, Moroccan style, on floor amid cushions.
