We stayed at Ericeira Surf camp for three nights. The location is perfect if you want to be close to beaches, restaurants and the town square. Check in was slightly confusing as there is no signage and the entry was locked. We had to go into the surf shop to find someone to check us in. We are in our early sixties and initially were a little tentative when we saw the common areas and the room. We soon warmed up to the place as it was very clean and pretty quiet considering it was right where the action was. We were definitely the oldest people there but everyone was friendly and respected quiet hours. There is no parking but staff directed us to park at a nearby grocery store an 5 minute walk anway. We left our car there for three days and had no issues. Overall it was great value for money and we would stay there again.

Breakfast was a bit small, but sufficient to keep us from being hungry. The woman-owner, who personally welcomed us, was very friendly. On the other side of the hotel, there is a surf shop, which is also run by the hotel owner. We were checked in quickly, earlier than the scheduled time, because our room was already ready. The room was just like in the photos, with comfortable beds, cleanliness, and windows that can be closed to block street noise. There is a fan, which is very helpful on hot days. However, it gets cool at night in Ericeira, and on weekdays the streets are quiet in the evening. We regret not staying longer to make use of the barbecue on the rooftop terrace :) A huge thank you to the woman-owner for such a wonderful place right in the heart of Ericeira!

Incredible location, generally clean, typical hostel breakfast (cereal, toast, some fruit, yogurt). Go to the surf shop to check in.
