The accommodation was an ideal size—there were five of us staying, and there were still extra beds available. The location was perfect: just a short walk to the town centre and equally close to the beach, which happens to be right next to an incredible bakery. The view from the top window was stunning, offering a clear sightline to the sea on the horizon. Inside, the space felt open and airy, with minimal clutter, making it comfortable and relaxing. The outdoor area was a lovely bonus—a small sun trap that gets a few hours of sunshine in the afternoon, perfect for unwinding. The host was fantastic—quick to respond to any messages and genuinely attentive, checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The welcome gift was a thoughtful touch and made us feel instantly at home in Portugal.

The house is beside the market and a short walk to the beach, restos and cafe/bars. You can sit out the front on the steps in the evening sun. All as expected from the photos- we had a great time. Bruno from Ericeirabikes organized a great MTB day out from Mafra to Ericeira for us, great trails and coaching for the newbies - recommended if you bike.

Beautiful, vast and big house.We had more rooms than we needed. There are 2 bathrooms and one additional toilet. House is well equipped (there are all kitchen devices and lots of cups and plates). Cental location, 100 m to the city market with fresh vegetables and bread. Beaches are nearby, restaurants as well.
