I found the restaurant Edelweiss thinking it was the hotel, my error. Despite my error, a staff member kindly walked me to the hotel which was a short walk away, otherwise I may have struggled, it wasn't obvious. The name on the hotel wall beside the entrance was actually Auberge Edelweiss which is up a small alley. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, typically Sicilian, very sweet.

Excellent Breakfast, beyond expectations, with a lot of drinks and food as well sweet as salted. Very nice people wanting to help you as much as possible, in particular to find a parking place not too far from the hotel and to pick you up with a car to go to the hotel with your luggages.

The breakfast was a feast of sweet delicacies from Erice. An optional savoury breakfast was offered -eggs cheese bread, salumi, ham, prosciutto plus yogurt, juices and of course, café or tea. The hosts were gentle, kind and extremely helpful. Perfect location.
