The wonderful Opera Hostel with its charming atmosphere and artistic interior surpasses even many hotels. I was enchanted by this cozy and beautiful hostel and its location, just a short walk from the old town, the train station and the sights. The rooms were very clean and lovingly decorated, every detail in its place - I felt like I was at an art exhibition with a vintage feel! I would like to thank the lovely hostel team from the bottom of my heart for creating and maintaining such a magical gem and a real treasure to stay in Erfurt - at a affordable price - for everyone who loves beauty and fine arts!!! I definitely want to come back soon and bring my family and friends with me to introduce them Erfurt, rich in culture and history and this magnificent hostel. With the best wishes and until next time!

The hostel is located in a nice neighborhood, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the three days I stayed, the kitchen/chill space is quite nice, and the rooms are rather spacious with good air flow and lots of sunlight. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Erfurt.

I was here several times throughout Feb/Mar 2026. The best hostel experience I've ever had. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The organization is excellent and professional. The bedrooms, toilets, and showers are spacious and extremely tidy and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and clean. It's unbelievable that there's such an excellent hostel at such an affordable price.
