“Wonderful, comfortable villa with helpful host!”

Our stay at Villa Agriela was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we booked about a year before, our host Stelios sent us an amazing long list of places to visit, local shops and restaurants, and was always available if we had questions. The Villa was perfect for the whole family, with excellent amenities, well-equipped kitchen, a lovely pool to relax by, a barbecue, excellent shower and washing machine too. The villa was a great size for the family with several separate spaces for relaxing together and separately too. The village was lovely and quiet, with a few shops just a few minutes walk away, and lots of amazing taverna restaurants within 5-10 minutes drives. It was also situated about 20 minutes drive from Heraklion city and Gouves, both of which had great attractions. We were so happy during our holiday in Crete, and Villa Agriela was a central part of that! 10/10, would definitely recommend!

It was really smooth and easy, We contacted via WU and our host was happy to wait for us as it took us a bit longer to get our car. The place is really cosy and in a good surrounding. Fresh eggs, oiliveoil and a local wine was waiting for us. We had three large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so it was perfect for 6 people. The kitchen had all sort of supplies, I could not have thought of anything else I could need. Travelling with car it was in a good spot both for Herakleion and country sides to visit.

The villa is beautiful, very clean and spacious. We really liked the location, as it made for a more cultural experience - being up in the hills in a more local (rather then tourist) area. Stelios and his wife were very accommodating.
