We were met by Alex at the door who greeted us by name, helping us with our bags. Such a simple action which made us feel very special. We soon learned that this is not just a small hotel. it's more like staying with family. The food was great, as was the service. My birthday cake was the best cake I have ever had.... Through Alex, we were introduced to a small family run champagne house - Beaucmap - which was not on the usual champagne route, arranging a private tour. Nothing was too much trouble, even with our non existing French!!!!

The owners did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Very good breakfast. Parking is just around the corner. Big room with great saunas and jacuzzi. Really thoughtfully decorated house just a short walk from city center.
