the property was a lovely rural property - very quiet and relaxed. Set in beautiful countryside directly opposite the Citadel with superb views. it was really lovely to have dinner on the terrace with views over the gorge and the Citaldel. whilst we did not use most of the facilities at the property eg. the kitchen, the facilities were great and you could be entirely self-sufficient. this of course would mean you would miss out on the delicious food and wines served by Cathy and Patrice. the food served was great traditional French dishes - though there were choices - and the wines served second to none.
