Nice comfortable stay in the middle of nowhere on my bike trip over the mountains. Gabriela was a wonderful host, very helpful in making sure my bicycle was safely stored, and preparing some great meals with local produce. The guesthouse has a lot of historical features and it is so important that accommodation is offered in such a remote area.

Since our arrival we could feel the friendly vibe of the village. Since ours was a last-minute booking, the owner wasn't around upon our arrival, but someone from the village appeared as soon as possible to open the door for us. Mari Cruz (sorry if it's mispelled) and all the staff was very friendly. We could notice that the "Posada" is a social point for the villagers, an people would come in for a beer on the terrace. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a balcony with a view to the mountains. From the "Posada" one can go hikins which is perfect if you're a hiking lover. The breakfast is simple, but the coffee is great. The town is about 12 minutes from Potes by car, which turned out to be good enough, with the plus of being more embedded with mature.
