We had an amazing time at Kingfisher Lodge in Kosi Bay! The setting is peaceful and beautifully integrated with nature — perfect for a relaxing escape. The chalets are clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering comfort while still giving you a sense of being close to the wild. The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help with tips about local activities. There is a restaurant in the premises and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. A special highlight for our family was Voly (not sure if it’s spelled correctly), the lodge’s friendly dog, who became the perfect companion for our son during our stay — gentle, playful, and always nearby with a wagging tail. It really made the experience even more memorable. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a quiet break surrounded by nature, Kingfisher Lodge is the place.

Owners were very nice and corrected all the issues we had with facility right away, the area is nice a quiet, the beaches were my favourite part, it is a drive away from the facility. However, the locals are extremely friendly and helpful. 4X4 is required or you might not be able to get the breaches. Almost no Wi-Fi connection in the rooms, but is a nice break from reality.
