The price is reasonable. The place is clean. The bed was comforable. The TV worked.. The little fridge with freezer worked so we had room for ice packs and food for the trip. The AC worked. It was close to the interstate, close to a reasonable gas station, close to restaurants - because Emporia is a nice small town.

It was clean and smelled fine. (I.e. NO stale tobacco odor, nor black mold).) The sink was rather worn, but worked. Lots of space around for walking - it's like a mile or so out of town. TV and cable worked OK. It was interesting, they actually used keys instead of keycards! The bed was firm enough and comfortable. It was inexpensive, so well worth the price. No complaints about the man at the receipt desk.
