For group bookings (2 or more rooms), the cancellation period is 3 days.Cash payment is required on arrival to check in. Cash is only payable at property. Card details are taken in advance to secure the booking and to process payments for late cancellations / no shows or if the property is damaged.Please note check in after 21:30 unless confirmed by management prior to arrival and at a surcharge of GBP 10 per extra hour.Guests with special requirement such a disability access room or ground floor room must inform the property prior to arrival and is subject to availability.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. It was in the centre of Ely just a 5 minute walk from the cathedral so it was an excellent location. Even though the facilities are really old and tired looking it was exceptionally clean.

The location is superb...just off the main street and across the road from the cathedral and offers cheaper tarrifs than other local accommodation.. Saying that, it did feel overpriced for a single room with shared bathroom. Good communication by staff who me me at the address. It's certainly not as bad as the reviews make out so long as you realise you are not staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel. It's clean enough, comfy enough, the tv works, its slap bang in the centre and has a car park next door! I always use earplugs so wasn't disturbed by traffic, pelican crossing or pub next door. I was also told by a local that the food in the Thai restaurant downstairs is superb!!
