Loved the location in the heart of Elvas close to all the attractions. Beautiful convent building with huge guest rooms. Enjoyed their cocktails on the convent corridor bar area. Superb breakfast buffet with the local specialty Alentejo bread.

Liked everything about the hotel. Its location within the walls of Elvas. Plenty of free parking. Staff welcoming and helpful throughout hotel. The outdoor and indoor pools and spa all spotless. Breakfast had an excellent choice of items with eggs cooked as you wanted by staff. Excellent value for money. Of Parador standard but with a more personal feel.

Beautiful old building, with cloisters and garden. The staff on the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Our room was large and comfortable, although a little dark as the one window was quite small for the room. We didn’t use the spa and the outside pool was closed due to poor weather. Be aware that swimming hats are required in the pool. Breakfast was good but it was quite busy - we think there was a conference group, or something similar, staying at the hotel. It’s possible to request a kettle or coffee machine to use in the room. That’s a nice touch but we were taken aback at checkout to be charged €1 for each coffee pod. In a room costing €200+ per night you’d think they could throw in a couple of complementary coffee pods with the machine.
