The property was modern with real attention to detail, giving a homely feel to the villa. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with plenty of good quality cookware, beautiful matching crockery and a full range of cutlery and knives. There are numerous places around the villa and pool to sit and relax either in the sun or shaded. The villa was situated on the hill side above Elounda so there are panoramic views of Elounda and the surrounding mountains, beautiful to sit and take in the views with with an evening drink or see the sunrise with a morning coffee. The hosts are really lovely and friendly and are on call if you need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and having rented quite a few villas over the years we would say that Villa Romee is the nicest.

Our stay at Villa Romee was awesome, we really did not want to leave. The Villa is beautiful, modern, bright, clean and airy with SPECTACULAR views, a beautiful pool, and relaxing spots to sit and eat, on varying sides of the villa to either take advantage of the sun or avoid it, depending on your preference. The 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made our stay very comfortable. We all found the beds very comfortable and the bathrooms were new, clean and efficient. The kitchen and villa are very well equipped, with great attention to detail and a lot of thought given to provide for all your needs. There were also some highly appreciated welcome items like coffee pods, sugar, tea, milk and some prosecco, beer and soft drinks to celebrate our arrival. The villa owners are very friendly and welcoming, with great local knowledge and very responsive to our queries. The villa is only a short (7-minute?) drive to Elounda, with so many things to do in the surrounding area. It is so nice to go out and explore or eat, then retreat and relax with your amazing views. We did use the taxi service recommended by our hosts and this was very easy and reliable. We would love to return!
