Lovely, homely hotel made from wood - such a nice change from all the concrete places we have stayed in. Breakfast was excellent and hosts were lovely, driving us out to the tea factory and providing lots of information.

We had a wonderful stay at Windwood Ella. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well kept, with a great location close to everything while still feeling calm and private. The breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care. What really made the difference were the owners. They were incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel like part of their family from the very first moment. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The friendly staff really made the stay, it was like you were part of their family while with them.. Also an amazing breakfast! On the room balcony overlooking the trees while spotting wildlife was really good - fruit, omelette, coconut dhal, and who would have thought homemade pineapple jam with banana on a fresh roti would work! Currently the top (ground level) floor is being renovated to build a new reception and restaurant area, which should make things even better.
