Loved the location, very short walk along the train tracks to the Main Street, and super close to Mateys hut which was our favourite for food and cooking class! The breakfast was yummy. The room was basic but very good value for the price we paid. The balcony had monkey visitors in the morning which was the highlight for us!

One of the most welcoming places I stayed at Sri Lanka. Beautiful location, big clean room with a mountain view. Incredible breakfast served in the morning was a highlight of the stay :)

Udessa Rest Ella is right on the Pekoe Trail, a 5 minute walk into town via a short cut along the railway line. We were welcomed warmly and the host family were kind and considerate to our needs. Our room is spacious, comfortable and clean with a wide balcony, lovely for eating breakfast and relaxing. Great value for the price, highly recommend this home stay.
