“A Warm and Unforgettable Stay in the Heart of Nature”

Staying at Royal Mount Ella was truly one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip. The location is fantastic – just outside the village with a stunning view. You wake up and fall asleep surrounded by nature. Mount Ella is easily reachable on foot, which is another big plus. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and fully met our expectations. However, the real gem of this place is the host family. They run this guesthouse with genuine heart and total dedication. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, I can honestly say that I have rarely felt as warmly welcomed as I did here. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this place for your stay. The views, facilities, design, owner - everything is just perfect. If you go to Ella, you HAVE TO stay at Royal Mount Ella. This place is just incredible.

wonderful view and lovely rooms with great common living space. Very nice meals served in our own private dining space - very authentic home cooked meals & plenty of fresh fruit and juice with our breakfast
