The King Room with Mountain View was absolutely amazing. Waking up in bed and seeing the mountains directly from the room was a beautiful experience. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was large and cozy, and the balcony area offered peaceful surroundings with birds and fresh mountain air. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, eggs, toast and great Sri Lankan tea. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. They also helped us with transport and local recommendations which made our stay even better.

Lovely views, breakfast was very tasty and the staff were friendly. Nicely situated a 10 minute walk down the train tracks from the centre of Ella.

You have to bear in mind that this is a 2 star hotel. This shows in the age and decor in the rooms which is a little tired. Aside from this the accommodation was good and the views from most of the rooms stunning. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and just a 15 min walk into the centre of Ella. A cheap TukTuk back as well.
