Ka “Great place to stay to explore Ella”

Located at the end of the road after Misty Heaven where my travelling friend is staying, it was more like a villa, big rooms, big shower room and wash room even complete with its own kitchen. Friendly host, welcome with tea and cookies and introduce places to see in Ella and distance from hostel. Morning view front of room is like a mini zoo: wild monkeys climbing jack fruit tree and i was told in evening there were nig porcupine.

We had a lovely stay at Once in Ella Hotel. The people there were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our time in Ella even more enjoyable. We stayed in the lower room of the lodge, which was fully equipped with a kitchen and had beautiful views out over the jungle. Waking up to and falling asleep with the sounds of animals was such a special experience and really made the stay feel peaceful and immersive. The location is great, it’s an easy walk to the Nine Arch Bridge and into Ella town. The road leading up and down is quite steep, so it’s best to ask car drivers to stop at the top near the temple and either walk down to the property or take a tuk tuk, which is very easy to arrange. A wonderful place to stay if you want comfort, nature, and a warm welcome.

Well equipped rooms, quiet location in otherwise busy Ella. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast for 750 rupees per person was tasty and varied.

The location is close to the center yet in a quiet part of town. Great place to relax and read a book. Host was excellent and professional.
