This place was exceptional for me. First off I was met at train station and taken to the cottage. From the road you need to navigate some very steep stairs which were no problem for me. The cottage has such a beautiful view looking across to the mountains and down to fields where rice and vegetables are grown. Also the jungle is part of the view. The cottage is large comfortable and has a mosquito net. The bathroom is also large. The breakfast is amazing and being gluten free it was so good and way too much! Nirmala was so helpful.

The owner of the hotel is an incredibly helpful, friendly, warm-hearted, thoughtful, and hardworking gentleman. The hotel itself is magnificent. It is exceptionally clean, well-organized, and offers outstanding breakfasts. It is truly a wonderful place with the best view in Ella. It is truly a great value-for-money hotel. You can be sure that you will be happy staying here. You will feel as comfortable as if you were in your own home. If we come back, we already know where we will stay. Hope to see you again.

The host was great! He gave us tips what to do, arranged tuktuk to the city and taxi to our next destination for a good price. The property's location is remote from Ella which means it is quiet and with a great view. The place is clean and well equipped with everything needed for a short stay, stable WiFi and hot water in the shower. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Different every morning (we were there 3 days). Just next to it there is good place for having a dinner.
