The view was incredible. Best view from my bed I have ever had!! We arrived in the dark and when we woke up and opened the curtains we were amazed by the beautiful views. Nisal looked us very well and nothing was too much trouble, he drove us into Ella for dinner and collected us too. Thank you Nisal!

I recently stayed at Ella Camelot, and I had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. W especially want to commend Nisal for his outstanding service. Also, our tuk-tuk driver, Thilak, was amazing and showed us around, making our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend Ella Camelot to anyone visiting the area!"

The room with a ceiling to floor glass window was out of the world. Add to that the glass door leading to the spacious balcony. It was truly like we were cocooned by Nature. But you have to climb up and down a good number of steps to reach this paradise… so not so good for bad knees. The bathroom had okish but wobbly fittings and needs some work. There is no inhouse dining but the guy who attended to us, Dilshaan, was almost as good as the room — ever smiling, helpful and courteous. The hotel is a little over 3 km from the city centre, a 600-800 LKR tuktuk ride away. There’s a highway in front so walking not advised.
