I highly recommend it! A cozy room with a stunning view and excellent service. The hostess is incredibly welcoming: she's always willing to help and serves delicious, filling breakfasts. You can also order lunch or dinner for an additional fee—they're just as good as restaurant meals in terms of taste and presentation, and the price is a pleasant surprise. We spent four days here and didn't want to leave. The surrounding nature is stunning: mountains, forests, and waterfalls. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here for three unforgettable days, completely immersed in nature. Waking up to this breathtaking view, surrounded by greenery and watching monkeys play freely around the house, felt truly magical. The breakfasts were exceptional honestly the best we had in all of Sri Lanka. Every morning was a surprise, different, homemade, generous, and prepared with so much care and love. The hostess is an incredibly warm and kind person. Always smiling, attentive, and full of great advice, she made us feel at home from the very first moment. The room is full of charm, authentic, cozy, and perfectly in harmony with the natural surroundings. This place is not just a homestay, it’s an experience. We will carry these moments with us for a long time and would return without hesitation.

It was located up in a calm mountainous area with a beautiful view from the balcony. The walls are made in a kind of cobblestone which gives this place a cosy charm. Every morning the hostess gave us a Sri Lankan style breakfast making us ready for the day.

Cozy rooms with an incredible view at all times (especially during sunset and sunrise!). Water is hot, mosquito nets are intact and the breakfast was incredible! We stayed for two nights and had one western, and one Sri Lankan breakfast (we asked if it was possible to have a lokal breakfast) and it was amazing, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast (Stringhoppers with Daal and Coconut sambol) the owner cooks amazing and is such a sweet lady, I would definitely also eat dinner and lunch here! The place is vegan friendly (both breakfasts were vegan, they know what it means and are very eager to give you an amazing meal). My grandmother came with a wheelchair (she can only walk short distances and steps) and everyone was very accommodating, helping us with the wheelchair on the steps at the entrance of the hostel and serving breakfast on the balcony in front of the rooms so she didn’t need to walk up the stairs to the restaurant. You can reach Ella by foot in 20 minutes, and start your hikes to the nine arches bridge, Ella rock and little Adam’s peek from there, we started for the sunrise at 4:20 and were a little early, but we‘re fast walkers :) They also helped us get a taxi when we left for a very reasonable price (less than the pick-me price) All in all an incredible experience, it felt more like leaving a friends house when we left after just two nights, I would definitely recommend staying here.
