The level of service at Adam’s Apple is genuinely better than we have had at five star hotels. The staff couldn’t do enough to help, as others have said even making us breakfast to take away on the morning we left at 6am. The view was absolutely incredible and we enjoyed eating dinner in the balcony, which was tastier and much more reasonable than any food in town. It really was the highlight of our trip and we couldn’t recommend it enough. To top it all off it was extremely good value.

Excellent location away from the craziness of Ella and yet still so close, great views and not exposed to the heat of sunset rather embracing the beauty of sunrise

The breakfast! O my god! We stayed at Adam's apple homestay for 4 nights and we had a great (and different) breakfast every morning! It was amazing local Sri Lankan food and it was delicious. Equally up there is the fenomanal view! The location was really quiet and still close to town. We prefered walking up the hill (about 10-15 minutes) and we could get the tuktuk back. The Tuktuk price from the homestay is a little bit cheaper then the one you take in town.

Wow. What a place. The view from the room and dining area is stunning. Afternoon tea is served on the terrace, overlooking the mountains like Little Adam's Peak. Only small point is the shower not being too warm but that is easily forgotten. Very good value for money.
