We loved the excellent transportation links, which were combined with a very quiet location—a truly unusual combination. The staff was very friendly. Our room was bright, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We found the beds comfortable, and it was quite quiet at night. The breakfast was very extensive and varied. All in all, it was a lovely stay that we would gladly repeat one day...

The building looks great and the double room that we had booked was overwhelming, a real suite: very large, nicely decorated, with shower and bath and a big balcony (obviously the only room with balcony, and the other rooms seemed to be much smaller). There was a very wide choice on the breakfast buffet, and they also provided glutenfree bread on request. We tried the hotel restaurant one evening, the food was excellent. The staff was always friendly. There're also beautiful little gardens to the back and behind the front gate of this large estate. The place is a few kilometres out of town. By car it takes under 10 minutes into the old city centre, with our bicycles about 15-20 minutes. You can hear the traffic from the nearby motorway as a distant sound, not disturbing. We can definitely recommend this place.

Nice and calm place, helpful staff, great food. And a place for kids to play adds value to the stay as well.
