The hotel itself was great. Comfortable beds, great amenities and wonderful communal and pool area. The staff managed by Sir Roland was very kind and Mr. Roland helped us organised all our trips to town and to the airport. We arrived in the middle of typhoon season and yet still spent a great holiday with the help of Lio Villas Resort.

The staff is very friendly. The place has a lot of potential but it lacks maintenance like the green algae on the deep side of the pool.

Our experience at Lio Villas was amazing. We arrived before check-in as we had an early transfer. The staff were more than happy to let us use the pool facilities before our room was available - and they prepared the room early for us! The pool is lovely, the food was one of the best meals I had in the whole of The Philippines. Our room was absolutely massive, done really nicely and the air con worked perfectly. Wifi was fantastic too. The staff were all lovely, and even prepared breakfast for us at 5am before a flight. It's a bit out of El Nido town, but we got tricycles pretty easily to and from town/the airport. Would highly recommend this place!
