It was my another great stay in Maria's apartment. As before - everything was great, especially the care and kindness of the owner. I can only add to my previous opinion that there is a washing machine on the property - just ask on WhatsApp for details. Thanks Maria and see you soon :)

Our host Maria was a delight, very friendly and helpful. She kept in touch whilst there, via Whats app, so if we needed anything she could help. Los Abrigos is a quieter area than the main tourist areas such as Los Christianos etc. Much more a local fishing village that has adapted to tourism than a purpose built resort. The apartment was on the first floor and whilst not luxurious was well equipt, spacious and had everything we needed. It was literally a home from home. The roof terrace was another two floors up and served as a utility area for the flats below but had lovely views of the coast and mountains. We loved sitting up there for our breakfast (self catered) each morning, basking in the warm sunshine and then again in the early evening with a glass of wine watching the sun light fade and the stars start to appear. The harbour area where most of the bars and restaurants were congregated was just a few minutes walk away, as were small supermarkets, a bread shop and ice cream parlours. If you enjoy fish and seafood Los Abrigos will not disappoint, and the prices for food and drinks were significantly less than back home. There are bus stops close by and a reliable and cheap service to other nearby resorts from which onward travel could be found. We had a trip to Los Christianos one day and El Madeno another. Both busier than Los Abrigos (Los Christianos much more). If you are looking for fish and chips and an English breakfast I couldn't recommend Los Abrigos. If you like local food and a quieter pace of life whilst you soak up the Tenerife sunshine (and all at a budget price) Maria's place in Los Abrigos may be for you.
