Having stayed here previously we were aware that Gites Au Chateau Fleuri would suit our needs and we were not disappointed. Situated in a wonderful position overlooking the square in the centre of Eguisheim it is just perfect. The owner and his staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure a comfortable stay in their lovely Gite. The reserved car parking space a couple of minutes walk from the property is an added bonus too.

The location in pretty Eguisheim couldn't be better, facing the square, 50 m from the Christmas market. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious, and clean, it has everything you need to have a good time, it has closets and the beds are very comfortable. There is a bakery very close and a small store selling very basic things. The private parking is a 2-minute walk away, as we went at Christmas time it was essential to have it. The owners were very friendly and attentive to our questions at all times. A complimentary champagne for Christmas Eve was an extra, totally appreciated! The apartment is on the second floor and is accessed by stairs. The bathroom and bedrooms are located on the upper floor. For us, it was not a problem. However, it is something to keep in mind since it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. From this small city you can easily explore all of Alsace by car ( I don't know if ther are any public transport) and also get plenty of rest since from 7-8 pm onwards the city becomes completely silent.

Comfortable, clean well-appointed property in the centre of village, close to restaurants and shops. Hosts very obliging and helpful.
