Really nice cottage on the lake off the main road. The location is very quiet. We had an issue with the shower that I messaged the host and someone was knocking at the door to fix it within 15 minutes in the middle of a snow storm at 8:30pm so that was really amazing. There was also oil and salt & pepper we used for cooking which most places don’t provide. The man that came to fix our shower also came in the mornings to shovel the snow off the porch and make a pathway to our car. Highly recommend this place !

Cute little cottage. Very comfy and fully equipped. Loved the experience of showering with geothermal water! You get used to the sulfur smell, no issues there. It was a very snowy morning, very beautiful location! I wish we could've stayed longer tbh.

The house is clean and cozy. Easy and convenient when checking in and out. Plus, when we going to check out, our car was stuck in the middle of snow. The staff helped us to call her Boss and moved out the car. Their help really save our day and we really appreciate it!

The location is excellent. Near to the town.We managed to see the amazing aurora here. Easy to find. Near to groceries and gas station etc. The view is mesmerizing. Can’t describe enough with words. Facilities were good. Can cook too.

Really pretty “tiny house” type, in a calm location, with the lake as a view. 3min by car to the center of Egilsstadir, with possibility to park Perfect location to watch auroras (if you’re lucky) as the 5-6 houses are located in a dark (by night) area. Functional and clean.

Very cute cozy little cottage with everything you need. We stayed with 4 people, it's small but enough for one night. Sleeping couch is a bit springy and makes some noise when you're turning, but again, good for one night.

It was super clean and done with a lot of love in the cabin. Very calm surroundings. Was the best stay in Iceland so far (11 days in). We loved everything! Thank you so much!
