Everything, from beautiful, clean rooms, efficient a/con, to lovely staff and owners, putting their heart into everything they do to make sure you are having a good, restful time. They even given us some beach towels so we didn't have to buy some. Food in the restaurant is divine - they serve lunch and dinner. On our last night, they had a b/day party there with proper Romanian Folk Music. Singing, dancing, making new friends, super food and drink... Perfect for us and definitely coming back. This is a family run business, with everybody involved and running like clockwork. Oh, and make sure you are making use of the Salina room - lovely unexpected extra! If you want to experience Romanian hospitality at its best, make sure you are staying here. Out of the four hotels we used over 18 nights all over the country, this was by far the best. It put to shame some of the other bigger chain hotels we used. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Large rooms, comfortable bed, quiet and with very good restaurant (Romanian cuisine) on location. Large free parking and fast charging station for electric cars. Nice garden, good breakfast and extremely helpful staff. It is a family business fueled by the ambition of the owners to give new life to an old facility. Surprisingly, tourists can also enjoy the benefits of halotherapy (salt therapy) in an artificial salt-mine chamber. It is not very close to the beach, but all its benefits for - importantly- a very good price makes it one of the few very good options to stay in Eforie Sud. Once known as Carmen Sylva (this is the pseudonym of Queen Elizabeth of Romania, a prolific writer), Eforie Sud was the very first resort founded on the Black Sea coast, with an impressive history. Although now many of its old and beautiful houses built in the early 1900s are in a very poor state, Eforie Sud is struggling for revival and deserves a second chance from tourists.
