- Great location situated just outside the main part of the city and feels like a nice place to come back to in the evening. - Free parking is available. - Staff are very friendly and helpful. - Good quality breakfast. - There is free gym access at the university facilities (which are high quality) albeit it is 15 mins walk away from the hotel.

The Scholar is superb as always! Comfort to the letter and the rooms are immaculate, lovely location and superb customer service. We don't hesitate to book when up in Edinburgh.

It’s been refurbished to a very high standard Food dinner and breakfast also much improved since we were here 3 yrs ago.
