The room and the bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. The location is fantastic. The bus stop is just up the road from the accommodation. The owner was very helpful as we needed a room closer to the ground floor for accessibility reasons. We really enjoyed our stay

Location was good and the value during the fringe was great for a solo room. My room was clean, not ideal there being a skylight directly above the bed. It made it very difficult to stay asleep once the sun came out. Would be much improved with a blind. Aside from seeing a cleaner who did communal areas there were no signs of staff during the visit. I had a minor issue with my door lock being temperamental that I had to live with and a minor point. One point is that the front door was barely locked and my individual door had a very easy to guess pin and I’d have felt safer with a more unique code. Rooms were clean, and it felt good value given the time of the year and location.

Probably a little overpriced, but I think that was due to high demand due to a gig at the Castle. It's basic, but no issues at all with cleanliness. I was probably a bit of a pain as a guest, had some minor issues that to be honest were entirely my fault. The hotel were helpful and understanding at all times

Staff were nice and helpful, convenient location, lobby area with wine provided, clean bed and towels. Fine for a short stay. Good location about 20 min walk from Edinburgh castle, easy access to buses.
