Our room was very spacious with a brilliant view of the gardens on Princes Street. The bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our shower room (wet room) was large however after a shower the whole floor became wet making access to the toilet/washbasin slippery. . We would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to everyone we know who wishes to stay in a well located and clean/comfortable hotel. We must mention the food, breakfast is buffet style and has everything you could wish for. Evening meals were absolutely brilliant, we enjoyed them very much. It was a shame we only stayed a couple of nights.

Location and staff especially Mr. Archie at the reception. He was so friendly with people and helpful. He had always a smiley face. He loves his job. It is a privilege to have him at the hotel. Room 261 has a small balcony which was very nice to have this. Breakfast buffet has a variety of dishes.

The hotel is very central for most activities e.g. Fringe and Tattoo. The staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was kept fresh with new dishes until nearly close of breakfast
