The location and amenities of the property are great. Beds were comfortable and kitchen facilities were handy. Communication with host was excellent.

We loved the great owner who was helpful, friendly and quick to respond to any queries we had before or during our stay. The house was spacious and well equipped for our group of eleven adults. The beds and duvets were comfortable and clean. It was lovely to have the communal areas where we could all meet and enjoy each others’ company in the dining room or lounge. This is where a house beats a hotel where we would have each been isolated in our own rooms. The location of the property is great: half an hour’s easy walk to the centre , or there is a bus stop right outside the house. It’s nice to have an outside courtyard to enjoy during sunny moments too. The downstairs bedroom with its own toilet and shower right next door was incredibly useful for my 87 year old mother who can no longer manage stairs easily. This was actually the deciding factor in making us choose this property over others. We were able to make the house lovely and cosy with the central heating and plentiful hot water, which was greatly appreciated. We also loved the fact that the owner told us he is planning on updating and improving the house in the coming months, as this will make it a really desirable rental property for large groups.
