Everything was just great. The position is amazing, the hostel is beautiful esthetically, it's perfectly clean, perfectly functional and welcoming with lots of lounges and shared spaces where you can socialize, eat or just chill on your own, including spaces with guitars that you can play, books that you can read, and so on. Bathrooms and showers are great and clean, I never had a problem finding an available toilet or shower. Services are great, you have your own locker, you can get towels or toiletries at reception if you need them, if you need breakfast it's just 4 pounds, if you want to cook your own meals there's all the equipment you need. The staff is so kind and reception is open 24/7. There's flyers all over the common areas with suggestions about things to do, recommendations for bars/pubs/restaurants, and so on and so forth. The activities for hostel guests are great, I only had the chance to participate in one because the other nights I was busy, but the one I participated in was one of the most fun nights I've had in a while. It was so good and the hostel is such a cool place that I actually wish I could've taken more advantage of my stay there! I will definitely come back if I go back to Edinburgh some day. Btw, as a guest of the hostel you also have a 10% discount in a lot of bars and restaurants all over the city! That's cool. Bonus picture: the sight from my bed! Wow.

Was made to feel very welcome when I arrived. Got involved in some beer pong met some great people, generally had a blast, was not expecting much for £25 but all round the experience was a good one will definitely be back

Great location, staff were so friendly and welcoming. lots of activities on both day and night. This was my first time staying in a hostel and i really enjoyed it.
