The staff were lovely, the location of the hotel is ideal for access to Haymarket and the city centre, the pantry and lounge area are fantastic.

The hotel has a great location, a 15-20 min walk to Grassmarket or Princes street, 30 min walk from the train station (or a 18 min bus ride). The room was spacious enough for my solo stay and it has all the items yoh might need. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful at any time of the day, which is very important for making someone’s stay good. Although there is no offical breakfast offered, the pantry had plenty of items in the morning, depending on when you show up for breakfast. Water bottles were always available in the fridge as well as coffee and tea. Sometimes you could find smoothies and juice even in the afternoon, or fruit bars. There is also a lounge where you can enjoy your dring or food, as well as outside seating area. I was offered a free luggage storage on my check-out, which was great since a had a late night train.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and quiet, room was a good size too. Short walk to Edinburgh castle and main tourist areas.
