Hotel Overview

Black Ivy is just a 15-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre and features a lively bar which overlooks the Bruntsfield Links park. The shopping precinct of St. James Centre is only 1.3 miles from the the hotel.
Free WiFi and an en suite bathroom are featured in each room at Black Ivy. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels and tea and coffee services are also provided in every room.
The property is a 9-minute walk from the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, while Usher Hall and The University of Edinburgh can both be reached in a 15-minute walk. Guests can enjoy the boutique shops and cafes in the vicinity, or explore the historic Edinburgh Castle which is less than a mile away.

We were really pleased with Black Ivy overall. The room was fabulous, overlooking Bruntsfield Links, the staff were really friendly, In particular, Paula was lovely and incredibly helpful.

First time staying at the Black Ivy, a what a great hotel! Staff welcoming and helpful. Room clean, modern and very cool. Breakfast was very good indeed. Dinner was great. A real buzz about the place. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
