We felt very welcome from the start. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to our needs. The place has a lovely historic charm – staying in this old pub felt special and cozy. The food was delicious and clearly made with care. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Location is good, but road can be busy (school run?). Proper locals pub , serving pub grub. No gentrification. But lively and welcoming. Good coffee too and lots of vegan/vegetarian options.

lovely helpful greeting on arrival, shown around and everything explained. Ate in restaurant had steak, was very good. Landlady is super helpful and super welcoming. breakfast was really tasty and good.

Great location for travelling to Dover, Deal & Walmer castles V comfortable room , especially the king size bed! The breakfasts were exceptional too Don’t hesitate in booking!!
