The fine print
The Berkeley cannot accept guests referred by a local authority DSS (Department of Social Security). There is a late check-in fee of £20 for arrivals after 19:00. Please note that the property cannot accommodate arrivals after 23:00.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

The property was generally very well kept, aside from the two things. It was a lovely welcoming environment and whilst I didn't need anything, I got the impression that I would have been helped in any way I could. The location is great.
