There was a continental breakfast which was fine . I also had the option of cooked . Evening meal was very nice and the staff were throughout pleasant and helpful. Nice outside courtyard .Location excellent .

I stayed here overnight as I was in Didcot for two days for work. It was a lovely village & a great price for the rooms. The room was a nice size & the bathroom was lovely as well. The continental breakfast that was included was simple but just what was needed. I also had dinner at the pub, I chosen chicken schnitzel & chips, it had a little baby gem lettuce drizzled with a sauce which was really nice. I should have picked an additional side salad but went for onion rings which were really lovely. The lady that served me was very nice & had the perfect balanced of checking in everything was ok but didn’t hover & loiter. I asked a question about breakfast & she immediately offered to show me where it was served. I was told it was under new ownership so I do understand any little hiccups as they get settled. Any slight issues I did experience, didn’t overshadow my stay.

Good parking, location, comfy beds, a surprise complimentary continental breakfast. The cooked breakfast was really nice and just the right amount. Staff are friendly. Village is quiet and peaceful but just off the A34! Great value for money with tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. Everything you need for a restful sleep!
