The fine print
The restaurant closes the third week of September based on weather and road closures.During winter, continental breakfast is only served when the property has more than two guests booking in the lodge.Continental breakfast will begin on June 9th, 2024. The restaurant is going to be open approximately on June 9th, 2024, 2025, depending on the season.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Just off Highway 2, I stayed in one of their log cabins. Clean. Two double beds. Enough room and with the possibility of seeing a bear or moose depending on the season. I liked the general serenity punctuated by the rumbling of an occasional freight train.

Lovely log cabin feel. Nice and cosy and warm, lovely personal greeting from the owner operator Ted, who spent a lot of time telling us about the area and giving us great advice about where to go in Glacier National Park. Nice outlook onto a pond, where moose occasionally visit apparently.
