This was our second time in this pub. This time for four nights. It was wonderful again. East Dean is so cute! Jim and his team are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was again very clean and we felt very comfortable. The food in the pub is very good with fresh ingredients. The breakfast is wonderful with everything you could want from full English to yoghurt, fresh fruit and cereals. When we arrived it was incredibly busy as there was a big festival nearby. Despite this, everyone was friendly and relaxed. We sat in the apple orchard and got pizza and cider from Julie. Thank you Julie and Jim, we will be back!

Lovely village pub, perfect stop over on our way West. Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Room was great with lots of thoughtful extras; fresh milk in its own tiny fridge, biscuits, coffee machine, still and sparkling water. Great breakfast.
